We've had a great long weekend up NORTH! We had sun, wind, lightening, thunder and rain. And a huge temperature drop today...78 to 48 in about one hour. Memorial Day weekend has historically been our first true weekend of summer up north. This year was no different!!!
Some of our family activities have been:
-Lots of water slide time for Caleb and Olivia. Caleb conquered it standing on a boogie board. I know it's dangerous but he LOVED it.
-Lunch on the boat on Glen Lake. Landin loved driving it with his Daddy!
-Our friends, The Asfours, came over from their cottage yesterday to hang out and have dinner together. It was great to catch up with their family. Their children are always a blessing to ours...collecting caterpillars, finding fossils on the beach, throwing the football and eating yummy pizza.
-Caleb has LOVED throwing the football on the beach with Jeff...he's trying to perfect his diving catch in the sand.
-Today, Caleb and Jeff had a kite flying very high on the beach...one unique thing on about it was that there was a bucket tied to the tails!! It helped it launch...Caleb said it was his first time to fly a kite. All of our previous attempts have failed! A great memory.
-Dinner at Art's Tavern! Of course, Jeff got his favorite burger of the day!
This place continues to be a magical place for our family! We're thankful to Pop-pop and Nana for allowing us to stay at their condo!

I'm even more JEALOUS - I've never been up north with your families!!! Oh, I could eat little Landin UP!!! Looks like fun.
